UEFA have announced a range of changes to European competition from next season.
Clubs who reach the knockout stages will be allowed to use a fourth substitute if the game goes to extra-time.
In the actual finals of the Champions League and Europa League managers will be able to name 12 substitutes.
In addition UEFA has changed the times matches, staggering kick-offs in the Champions League.
